All new Kawasaki Z900

India Kawasaki motors launched the Z900 . It is available only in one version in India and only comes in black color. Thanks to the trellis frame the bike has lost massive weight  of 28kgs from the Z800.

In addition with the reduced weight the bike clocks 12bhp more than the z800. The short ratio gear box helps to increase more power hence enhancing the performance of the Z900.

The Z900 lacks in electronics for just one thing; it’s for value for money. It is also equipped with a slipper clutch , which helps in smooth shifting of gears . It also comes with optional ABS and an adjustable suspension system. The suspension can’t be adjusted for compression.

TEAM REVOLUTION from D Y Patil School of Engineering Academy, Ambi, Pune

Team Revolution is a formula student team of D Y Patil School of engineering Academy, Ambi, Pune. This team designs and manufactures student formula car FSAE events. They have participated in various events such as SAE SUPRA 2016 which was held at the Buddh international circuit and FORMULA BHARAT 2017 which was held at Karri Motorspeedway , Coimbatore.

The team consists of students from Automobile & Mechanical engineering from SE , TE and BE. The team is divided into various departments such as :

2.       Suspension

3.       Brakes and tires

4.       Steering

5.       Sponsorship

The team is dedicated and is improving every season. They are improving their car according to aesthetics, performance and weight reduction parameters. They are using new technologies that are available in their sources and imply it in the car according to the given rules. Now the team is trying to make some innovations that will be helpful for the vehicle with respect to the overall performance and safety.

The team has qualified for Formula Bharath 2018. They have achieved the 7 position in the quiz. The team is now in progress to design and manufacture a new car for this season. The Formula Student vehicle made by Team revolution this year is been powered by 390cc ktm duke engine which churns out 43 Bhp, 6 Speed manual transmission and delivers a good initial start with a max speed of 130kmph.The specifications of the car :

Participation and Achievements:

Participated in SUPRA SAE INDIA 2016 organized by SAE INDIA in the month of July 2016 at BUDDH INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT, Noida, India.

Being participating for the first time in student formula competition, team has managed to successfully been ranked 45th in overall India rankings.

The Team participated in the FORMULA BHARAT (Student formula competition) at the KARI MOTOR SPEEDWAY,Coimbatore, India in the month of January 2017.

The team has cleared all the Technical inspection, Brake test, tilt test, noise test and had made their way to the endurance. They team performed well and have stood at the 9^th position at the endurance race and the overall rank is 33^rd .
